Thanks everyone for a great 2008 Ladies on the Links season ! Here are some of your responses to the survey filled out at the Awards Barbecue on Mon Sept 29, 2008 which we will clearly try to implement for 09, thanks for your thoughtful suggestions. Favorite Aspect of LOL
§ Tuesdays – Sundays! § The trees! § Waited 30 min to start on Memorial Day § Play was backed up sometimes § That people did not show up § Playing in the dark § Couldn’t make reservations online § Crabby women who don’t want to have fun § Drink cart could have come around more § It ended to soon § Players who finished late did not have get all the buffet choices § Make it year round § 2 long drives and 2 closest to pin and 1 straightest drive each week § No tee times, just show up and but force 4-somes and not just friends § No Suggestions! Very well done this year § Improve speed of play § Healthier meals § Etiquette – pre season rules, handouts would be good § Give out prizes for every 50th or 100th person § Attempt to have an A B C D player in each group § Identify closest to pin and long drives prior to start § Can’t think of anything! § LOL tournament for players with handicaps to play their own ball § Fewer levels / have everyone play a hole with one club, alternate a pink ball in the group, big break challenges § Re-evaluate ABCD during the season § Break up the click-ish groups § 1st tee time at 3pm § Straight scrambles seemed to work best § Make sure the starters know the format § Have more accurate flights § Have team captains- would allow for leadership/mentoring and set pace of play § Long drive not on first hole § Play own ball toward end of season to see if I am improving § Play slows up when we play our own ball after 3 shots § Create a mission statement so LOL players know exactly what the purpose of LOL is § Give incentives to A players for supporting BCD players |
