It is the mission of the Ladies on the Links to provide a seasonal golf league for women golfers of all abilities to have an opportunity to meet and be mentored by other women golfers, improve knowledge and skills, play the game in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, and most of all HAVE FUN!

LADIES ON THE LINKS (LOL) SEASON !!

REGISTRATION OPENS ~  Wed March 2, 2011  ~  REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN !!! (Virginia Obenchain is the 1st registrant of 2011 - prize to be determined !)  Go to:  www.GolfAcademyVC.com; click on Ladies on the Links logo; and then the registration icon.  Cost is $35 for the season.

SPRING TRAINING  ~  Mon March 7, 14  2011  ~  (FULL) Spring Training Classes offered by Sally Quinlan, LPGA will be held at 4:30pm - get your body, mind and swing ready for the season !  Cost is $25 per class, register by emailing Sally@GolfAcademyVC.com

ORIENTATION NIGHT  ~   Mon March 14  2011 ~  Orientation will be held from 5:30 - 7pm at Los Robles - no charge, all players are invited, we review the new rules and formats for 2011...there is a free raffle, you will receive your season membership gift, there will be drinking and fun guaranteed !

KICK OFF NIGHT  ~  Mon March 21, 2011  ~  LOL season kicks off - shot gun tee time start at 4:00pm

AWARDS NIGHT   ~  Mon Sept 26, 2011  ~   Final Night !  Awards !  Certificates !  Barbecue !  Raffle !   "Best Of" Award Certificates !   You don't want to miss it !   4pm shotgun start, followed by barbecue....

Do's of the Ladies on the Links League (LOL)

• Register:  Go to "Register" icon and pay the annual fee of $35
• Sign Up for Play Each Week:  Go to the "Schedule" icon (tee times open for sign up one week prior)
• Read the "Information" icon and the "Tips" icon before your first week of league play
• Bring your own clubs and wear appropriate golf attire (a collared shirt, no denim, no short shorts, no tank/tube tops, or sweat suits)
• Please check in and pay at the golf course at least 30 minutes prior to the shot gun tee time start each week
• Be ready to laugh and have a good time on the golf course !

Don'ts of the LOL

• You don't have to play every week
• You don't have to establish a handicap to join or play
• You don't have to be a good golfer to join the league (however, brand new golfers are required to take one golf class and participate in one on course Play Day to be eligible for league play)

IMPORTANT DATES AND TEE TIME STARTS FOR LOL 2011:

New Early Bird Tee Times for 2011 - Tee off at noon, play 9 holes of your own ball, then play 9 hole scramble for early bird LOL, cost is $30 for 18 holes.

Shotgun Start Times for Regular LOL Leaguers 2011:

• March 21, 28, April 4..........  Shotgun Start at 4pm
• April 11, 18, 25 .................  Shotgun Start at 4:30pm
• May 2 through Aug 8..........  Shotgun Start at 5pm
• Aug 15, 22, 29...................  Shotgun Start at 4:30pm
• September 5, 12, 19, 26.....  Shotgun Start at 4pm
