A very special benefit of participating in the GAVC Junior Golf Program/The First Tee of Ventura County is the opportunity to gain discounted golf course access through the Southern California Golf Association Foundation's Youth on Course Program.
Youth on Course members receive the following:
- A complimentary SCGA membership and handicap index
- $2.00-$5.00 greens fees (depends on facility)
- $1 range balls at participating courses during off peak times - limit one bucket per day
- Bag Tag indicating either Supervised or Unsupervised Access
Prerequisites:
Participants in the Regular Academy Program must have ACTIVELY participated in classes/events for a minimum of 60 days AND have completed the Orange Stage. Participants in the Advanced Player Program must have ACTIVELY participated in classes/events for at least 60 days.
How to sign up:

Fill out the Application and mail to GAVC/Dan Martin, 15100 Happy Camp Canyon Rd., Moorpark, CA 93021 or fax ATTN: Dan Martin to (805) 530-0289. Once your application has been received, it will be submitted to the SCGA for processing. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your membership to process. Once we receive your SCGA card, we will notify you via email to pick up your bagtag and membership card. DO NOT FAX Directly to the SCGA - They Will Not Process
