New!!!

The Golf Academy of Ventura County is proud to announce our first lesson program for girls only!!

In our fun and innovative program, our mission is to help girls age 11 to 16 that want to play golf develop their skills and confidence so they will be able to play on their High School Golf Team.  Coached by Dan Martin, PGA – the Director of Instruction for The Golf Academy of VC and Rustic Canyon GC – and Mary Sweeney, GAVC Coach and Oaks Christian MS and HS Golf Coach – our program will focus on making golf girl-friendly and enjoyable.  Classes and events will include golf and life skill development, rules and etiquette, and a lot of on-course instruction and playing opportunities.  Members of the program will also receive a complimentary SCGA Youth on Course membership which allows for $2-$5 golf and $1 practice balls at several courses in the county.

Classes are now forming at Rustic Canyon Golf Course on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30pm.  Come out and see how easy and fun it can be to play golf!   Program costs approximately $20 to $40 per event, depending on duration.  Financial assistance is available.  For more information, contact Dan Martin at (805) 901-7829 or dan@golfacademyvc.com or contact Mary Sweeney at 805-657-6020.
