During the Summer, Winter, and Spring school breaks, The Golf Academy of Ventura County offers several fun and exciting Junior Golf Camps for juniors of all abilities and experience levels. See below for program descriptions.

Developed by Dan Martin, PGA - Director of Instruction of The Golf Academy of Ventura County and Rustic Canyon Golf Course - these full day camps are specifically designed for the junior golfer pursuing tournament play. Dan and his staff not only help juniors with mastery of their technical skills, but help participants develop the essential physical, mental, emotional, and social tools necessary to become a successful competitive player at any level. Competitive Player Camps are for juniors ages 10-17. To be eligible to participate, the junior golfer should have over one year of consistent playing experience and must have the ability to break 110 from the forward tees on a regulation course. Each day of camp includes:
- A.M. Advanced Golf Instruction / P.M. Play on Golf Course - 18 Holes
- Range Balls & Green Fees included
- Lunch, Drinks, Snacks
- Contests, Prizes, and Fun!

BEGINNER/NEW GOLFER CAMPS
These camps are designed to introduce the new or beginning junior golfer to the basic fundamentals of the game. In a fun, safe, and exciting environment, our students will learn the set-up, full swing, chipping, putting, pitching, and how to use different clubs. Juniors completing the camp will have developed the foundation to continue to progress as a golfer and have the skills to navigate a golf course. PM course play will take place during full day camps and on the final day of half day camps (except for Los Robles 5 Half-Day camps - no on course play) Instructional Player Camps are for juniors age 6-13 and include:
- Basic Golf Instruction on all parts of game
- Engaging golf activities and games
- On course play on the final day of camp
- Drinks & Snacks
- Contests, Prizes, and Fun!
INTERMEDIATE/EXPERIENCED GOLFER CAMPS
This camp is for the intermediate junior golfer with at least 10 rounds of playing experience. This camp is perfect for juniors that have progressed beyond the yellow stage in the GAVC Junior Academy or for juniors that have been actively playing on a casual basis with family or friends. Instruction will be fun and activity based with an emphasis on full swing and short game development as well as learning more about the Rules and competitive golf. Juniors completing the camp will have developed several new shots and knowledge essential to becoming a more advanced player. On course play will take place on the final day of each camp.

On Course Junior Golf Camps at Los Robles Greens Golf Course include 30 minute warm-up clinic followed by 6 - 9
holes out on the golf course. Students
MUST HAVE PLAYED ON THE GOLF COURSE AT LEAST TEN TIMES PRIOR to this camp, should have their own golf clubs, be strong enough to walk all nine holes, must wear sneakers or golf shoes, and bring their own snacks/water.
